Feed Production

VITAGRO Agro Holding has established a modern feed mill alongside the development of its pig and dairy farming operations. By producing our own feed, we can run our business more efficiently and reduce animal feeding costs. This capability has enhanced our feed production, as we also utilize our own raw materials, ensuring that we are 100% confident in the quality of our feed.

Opened in 2014 in the village of Lisovody, located in the Horodok district of the Khmelnytskyi region, VITAGRO's feed mill features a closed production cycle for high-quality, balanced feed for pigs and cattle. The primary advantage of producing our feed is the consistent high quality of the final products, which are made from our own raw materials.

Our modern automated production facility operates by GMP+ standards and employs equipment from leading companies such as Buhler AG and Van Aarsen International B.V. This allows us to produce high-quality feed that meets the needs of our pig and dairy farms. Thanks to these automated processes, all production at the plant is carried out without human intervention, ensuring the high quality of the final product.

Products are thoroughly tested in our on-site laboratory at the production facility. Laboratory specialists conduct daily analyses of various indicators for both incoming raw materials and finished feeds. Only tested, high-quality feeds are provided to the animals.

The plant employs qualified specialists who develop compound feed formulations tailored to the physiological needs of specific breeds, age groups, and even genetic characteristics. The entire process, from the receipt of raw materials to dispatch, is monitored by end-to-end systems provided by equipment manufacturers.

Since our feed is primarily based on cereals and cereal crops, as well as meals and cakes, we have constructed our elevator on the feed complex site. This facility allows us to store essential raw materials for extended periods, ensuring the uninterrupted production of high-quality, nutritious feed.

The VITAGRO feed mill produces a wide range of balanced feed formulations for pig and dairy farms, serving not only our needs but also the domestic market. The good digestibility of our feed results in delicious meat and dairy products.
