13.05.2026

Over the past few years, Ukraine’s agricultural sector has been operating in an environment of constant change. Despite the war, complex logistics, and rising production costs, agriculture continues to remain one of the key pillars of Ukraine’s economy.

According to the results of 2025:

  • more than 50% of Ukrainian exports were generated by agricultural products;
  • Ukraine remained among the global leaders in exports of sunflower oil and grain crops;
  • the agricultural sector maintained one of the largest shares in the country’s GDP structure;
  • agribusiness remained one of the country’s largest employers.

Alongside the market, approaches to agribusiness management are also evolving.

While land bank was once considered the main indicator, today increasing importance is placed on management efficiency, decision-making speed, and the ability of businesses to adapt to new conditions.

That is why modern agricultural companies invest not only in production, but also in technology, automation, analytics, logistics, and the development of internal processes. The focus is on business resilience and the efficiency of every stage of operations.

In practice, the agricultural sector is gradually shifting from a “scale” model to an “efficiency” model.

Industry rankings also reflect this trend. According to the results of the Ukrainian Business Award 2026, Vitagro Agro was ranked among the TOP 10 agricultural companies in Ukraine.

This recognition confirms not only the scale of the company’s operations, but also its consistent approach to management, development, and adaptation to new market realities.

Vitagro Agro continues to strengthen its internal processes, implement modern solutions, and reinforce its position as a systematic agricultural company focused on efficiency and long-term results.
