Pig complexes of the VITAGRO group of companies entered the TOP-10 companies in terms of the number of pigs in Ukraine. The growth in the ranking ensured that the VITAGRO group of companies is constantly increasing its capacity. In addition to the main Danbred genetics, which has been present at pig complexes for more than 10 years, we are the only company in Ukraine that has a breeding reproducer where pigs of Canadian Genesus genetics are bred. The breeding program is carried out in full with the support of geneticists from Canada and England on one of the company's reproducers with the latest equipment and technologies.

The replacement stock is used both to fill their own farms and for sale. The high productive qualities of the animals and the benefits of genetics resulting from rearing results in a very high demand for animals from producers.

According to the Association "Pig Breeders of Ukraine" today there are 2.17 million heads in Ukraine. This corresponds to 73% of the industrial supply of pork in the country. Experts consider growth to 6% in 2021, which gives good forecasts for an increase in pork consumption.
