Oleg Bilan - Agronomist of the Year!

On August 20, the awarding ceremony with the honorary rating award "Agronomist of the Year" was held in the city of Kyiv, which was initiated by the editors of The Ukrainian Farmer magazine. And how nice it is to see your colleagues among the best.

For professionalism, dedicated work, implementation of the latest technologies and preservation of the fertility of the Ukrainian land, the Chief Technologist of VITAGRO agricultural holding Bilan Oleg Mykolayovych was awarded.

Oleg Bilan has continued his career as the Chief Technologist of VITAGRO agricultural holding for more than seven years. Under his control are more than 85 thousand hectares of land, on which, on his initiative, the technology of growing agricultural crops was improved and production processes were optimized. The introduced measures made it possible to increase average yields and balance costs.

Thanks to Mr. Oleh's constant work and perseverance, the agroholding reduced the area under conventional cultivation and implemented soil-saving loosening without layer turnover, strip-till technology on poor, carbonate and sandy soils. They also increased the number of crops in the seed program and established a scientific research center where the effectiveness of hybrids, varieties, plant protection products, growth stimulants, fertilizers, and nutrition systems is tested. All changes in the fields of VITAGRO agricultural holding are carried out thanks to their careful study.

"My motto in life is to overcome the path only by walking. If you don't stop on the way to your goal and regularly take steps forward, sooner or later you will reach it," Oleg Bilan is confident.
