Increase in milk production and increase in livestock in 2022

Increasing milk production, harvesting fodder, maintaining livestock were the main goals in 2022 - before the war.

With the start of a full-scale invasion, the goals and ambitious plans for the development of dairy cattle breeding of the Vitagro group of companies were in question: what to do next, where to sell milk and cattle, where to get feed and veterinary drugs? There are more questions than answers!

Having developed a detailed action plan and analyzed various scenarios, we decided not to stop – while the dairies are working and buying milk, not to reduce productivity, to look for an alternative to feed.

And, despite the difficulties of 2022 and thanks to the APU, we managed to fulfill the productivity plan, increase the livestock to 5,500 heads, prepare feed and implement the “manure composting” project, which is used as an organic fertilizer for the company’s crop production.

In 2023, we entered with new plans and goals, projects, because we know well how important it is to support the productive front and our Armed Forces today.
