VITAGRO Energy, a company within the VITAGRO Group and implementing a biomethane plant project, has successfully passed an audit under the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) scheme.
The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) is a system for certifying sustainable consumption for all types of raw materials and agricultural and forestry markets. The scheme complies with the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and the Fuel Quality Directive (FQD) of the European Commission.
This certificate allows the company to sell biomethane in EU markets and to use the ISCC logo.
Thus, the company has taken another step towards entering international energy markets.
The company hopes that the next step will be the adoption of the VRU bill No. 9456, which regulates the customs clearance procedure and will allow Ukrainian producers to enter the European market with Ukrainian products.
