VITAGRO R&D Center hosted the “Yield Vector 2026” Field Day

The VITAGRO Research and Development Center hosted the traditional “Yield Vector 2026” Field Day, which this year became the largest event of its kind in the history of its organization. The event brought together more than 85 participants, including R&D Center specialists, agronomists from production units, cluster managers, representatives of Vitagro Partner, the central office, breeding companies, and partners from the agricultural market.

The main purpose of the event was to present the results of field research from the 2026 season and discuss promising technological solutions that can be implemented in production.

Participants reviewed research results on winter rapeseed, winter wheat, spring malting barley, and spring wheat crops. At the demonstration plots, R&D Center specialists presented tested varieties and hybrids, assessed their productivity, and highlighted the specifics of applying modern crop production technologies under various conditions.

An important part of the program was the discussion of practical solutions that can already be integrated into the production processes of VITAGRO Group enterprises and partner companies.

Representatives of leading breeding companies took part in the presentation of the demonstration plots, including Art Agro, BASF, Bayer, NPZ, LIST, KWS, DSV, Lidea, RAGT, Corteva, and Limagrain. Partners from Obolon LLC also participated in the event. Together, they discussed current market requirements for malting barley quality, cooperation prospects, and key criteria for growing the crop for the brewing industry.

The Field Day once again served as a professional platform for exchanging experience between science, production, and business. Such meetings make it possible to evaluate research results directly in the field, discuss the effectiveness of technological solutions, and define further areas of development.
