A Dairy Farm Through the Eyes of Students

Students of the Kamianets-Podilskyi Vocational College of Podillia State University embarked on an exciting trip to the VITAGRO Group dairy farm in the village of Ostapkivtsi. Under the guidance of the Director of the Dairy Cattle Department, B.V. Babyar, and the Head of the MTF of Ostapkivtsi village, I.M. Marchuk, the students had the opportunity to personally experience the atmosphere of real agricultural life.

During the tour, the guests got acquainted with all stages of milk production and cattle maintenance, gaining a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals. The hands-on research allowed them to improve their understanding of the production process and deepen their acquired knowledge.

The students paid special attention to the milking halls, where advanced technologies are used to automate production processes. They also learned about the feed base and silage preparation methods, which are important aspects of the dairy farming industry.

The visitors received unforgettable impressions from meeting the newborn calves, who became the true stars of the event.
