We sent the first ship with our grain from Izmail, along the "river-sea" route to Turkey

Ukraine has always been one of the main suppliers of agricultural products to the whole world. We grow much more grains and oilseeds than we consume, so the export of products is an indispensable component, both for the food security of many countries and for the development of the Ukrainian economy.

With the outbreak of war, all seaports were blocked and exports stopped. All over the world they began to talk about the food crisis, the spread of poverty, and in the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, even about hunger. The issue of exporting our products after the issue of war has become one of the key ones.

Previously, the VITAGRO Group of Companies exported its products through large traders, but it became clear that it was necessary to look for other logistical ways to send products. Thanks to our team of export and logistics specialists, an alternative route was found.

For the first time, on our own, we sent the first ship with our grain for oil from Izmail, along the "river-sea" route to Turkey. Ukraine has been the #1 country in providing the world with sunflower oil for many years, so these first 2,000 tons are very important for food security.

We will continue to look for ways to export and import products, because this is, first of all, necessary to support the economy of our state!
