Future Agrarians: Improving with VITAGRO

The agricultural sector in Ukraine is currently facing challenging conditions, making the issue of food security for the country and the world quite urgent. However, we are confident that together with young professionals in the agricultural field, we can achieve high crop yields.

Recently, our HR specialists held meetings with graduates from the Kamianets-Podilskyi Professional College of the Podolsk State University. With the students, we discussed the problems and prospects of the following fields: "Agronomy"; "Agroengineering" - "Electropower Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics"; "Veterinary Medicine" - "Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products." Representatives of VITAGRO spoke on these topics: the chief agronomist of the Tovtry cluster, the director of the livestock department, and the leading veterinarian, who, by the way, is a graduate of the college and demonstrated the career prospects for young people in the company through his own example.

In addition to learning about the company's activities, employment opportunities, and career growth prospects, we discussed the problems of agrarians and the agricultural sector as a whole. Together, we explored possible solutions to the problems faced by agrarians, particularly the shortage of specialists. The questions from future colleagues and their various opinions and visions regarding the development paths of the agricultural business were very interesting.

Engaging students from agricultural universities in internships to help them acquire the necessary skills and experience, and continually communicating to young people the role of agriculture in our daily lives, is our duty as experienced agrarians.
